A Little Bit about the Kirklands
The Lord brought my husband and I together after distantly knowing each other as teenagers. After many years of not keeping in touch, Todd contacted me in July of 2008, just 5 short months later we were married. It was definitely a work of God for things (including us) to come together so quickly.
He is my best friend and I love him dearly. He inspires me and challenges me and is always there for me. But with that said, marriage is still a rough and tumble process of going through life with someone who gets to know you so well that all the unpolished edges are revealed. We challenge each other and bring out the hidden gem chip by chip, which is the real beauty of marriage to me.
We have two incredibly handsome sons. :) Parenting has been a true blessing and joy, while there are also the trials of raising a child that are similar to those of marriage. The unpolished edges are getting revealed little by little and we are also learning through God's word and counsel how to shepherd our sweet sons.
